Ryan Luton is Senior Vice President of Technology at Divcon, an independent mission-critical controls provider to the world’s biggest data center operators. Ryan joined Divcon more than a decade ago and today leads the company’s corporate technology, product development, and research and development functions. He is known for pairing deep hands-on technical expertise with a practical, business-first approach to building teams, products, and the systems that keep critical facilities running.

A decade-long Divcon leader, Ryan has helped shape the company’s evolution from a regional controls integrator into a national provider trusted by the largest data center operators in the world. During his tenure, Divcon has supported more than 90 data center installations representing over three gigawatts of mission-critical capacity. Ryan has led the development of the company’s software and product capabilities, modernized its corporate technology and security programs to meet the standards of enterprise and institutional customers, and championed the design-focused, user-centered approach that distinguishes Divcon’s solutions in the market.

Earlier in his career, Ryan worked in product at healthcare and social impact technology companies, including a software company within the Blue Cross Blue Shield family and YourCause, a corporate social responsibility platform acquired by Blackbaud. That product foundation — an insistence on intuitive, well-designed tools — continues to shape how Divcon builds software today.

Based in the Dallas area, Ryan is a recognized voice in the controls industry and a familiar presence at leading conferences and trade events. Known for his deep expertise across both hardware and software platforms, he has played a pivotal role in advancing Divcon’s technology strategy and ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation. Ryan architected Divcon’s first cloud-enabled telemetry platform, transforming BACnet building data into scalable, IT-ready insights, and developed DivPro, the company’s proprietary project management system. He is also a respected thought leader on topics including IT/OT convergence, digital transformation, and the modernization of legacy control systems to meet the evolving demands of today’s mission-critical and energy infrastructure environments.
